Nippon Trends Food Service was founded in 2000 as a ramen noodle-making company for ramen restaurants in North America. For 20 years, we have provided the same highest quality ramen noodles as those in Japan for customers in North America. We have been prevalent under “Yamachan,” the nickname of Hideyuki Yamashita, the founder, and current president. We also manufacture retail products so that people in North America can easily enjoy delicious ramen at home. Currently, we have 300 kinds of commercial ramen noodles to meet the diverse needs of our customers. We launched a manufacturing base in Canada in 2020 and have been striving to satisfy more customers as much as possible.

As a food manufacturing company, our mission is to deliver “safety, security, and deliciousness” to our customers. In addition, we are constantly striving to be a company that society truly needs. Saigo Nanshu, one of the founding fathers of modern Japan, said, “Respect the divine, Love the people.” This saying is our company motto. The motto is based on the spirit of “doing what is right as a human being, no matter what the difficulties,” and reflects our determination to contribute to the progress and development of local communities and spread Japanese food culture to the world.

We have also formulated the “Yamachan (NTF) Philosophy” to practice our company motto and corporate philosophy. As stated in the first article of the philosophy, “Putting the Customer First,” since our establishment, we have been an “independent and self-reliant” company that takes the initiative in creating values that our customers desire. This value includes new products, quality, price, and a wide range of customer services: from menu planning to restaurant management support. We always seek to satisfy our customers with the latest technology, the best ingredients, and the most up-to-date knowledge.




In recent years, awareness of global environmental issues, including natural resources, has been increasing worldwide. As a company with the aforementioned corporate motto and philosophy, we consider this issue an urgent task. In 2015, the United Nations set 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), from which we, as a food company, have set “Zero Hunger,” “Health and Well-being for All,” and “Responsibility to Produce and Responsibility to Use” as our key goals. By pursuing these goals, we pledge that we will become a company that is truly sought after by society by 2030.
