Yamachan Ramen Sara Udon crispy noodles package with sauce for home cooking

Nagasaki Sara Udon
(Crispy Noodles)

Literally translated to "Plate Noodles" Sara Udon is a staple in the Nagasaki Prefecture. Crispy, thin, fried noodles are served with a thick sauce made of stir-fried vegetables and seafood mixed with original chicken-based sauce. Regardless of the season, this noodle dish can be enjoyed all year round.

Recommended ingredients include fried prawns, fried squid, pork, bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, and boiled quail eggs.

1. Add 1 package of soup seasoning base and 280 ml water into a bowl. Mix well and set aside.

2. Add 1.5 tsp of cooking oil to a 12-inch skillet on medium heat. Stir fry your choice of protein until almost fully cooked. Add vegetables and stir fry until tender and crispy. Lower the heat, add soup seasoning mixture, and constantly stir until sauce thickens.
